Arsenal have completed the signing of versatile Ukraine player Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City.

The 25-year-old flew back from City's pre-season tour of the USA to complete the move after Arsenal agreed a £30m deal, which includes £2m in add-ons.

He has signed a long-term contract with the London club and is their fifth signing of the summer.

Another good signing for the Gooners. Pleased for the fella, who must have gone through hell with his personal circumstances over the last few months.

Gabriel Jesus, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Albert Sambi Lokonga scored in a comprehensive Arsenal 4-0 win over Chelsea in Orlando.

That meant the Gunners won all three of their matches on their US tour, scoring nine goals and conceding just one. Also, won all five pre-season friendlies.

Won't post links because it's all over social media.

Thomas Partey is accused of some very serious crimes going back some time.

Screenshot and all sorts all over social media.

Arsenal were aware of the allegations but kept playing him.

If found guilty (and it looks bad for him) then Arsenal come out of this badly.

Arsenal battered Sevilla 6-0 at the Emirates, with Jesus grabbing another hat trick

Gooners scored for fun in their friendlies, 26 on 7 games.

If only we could say that about Leeds.

Mikel Arteta said his Arsenal side look "hungry" after getting their campaign off to the perfect start with victory over Crystal Palace in an entertaining 2022-23 Premier League curtain-raiser at Selhurst Park

The Gunners maintained their impressive pre-season form with an energetic performance that was rewarded when Gabriel Martinelli nodded in a 20th-minute opener from new signing Oleksandr Zinchenko's headed assist.

Arsenal have invested heavily and will probably be in the market again.
No plans to sell on anyone but their surplus to requirements guys this season either as their American - gasp - owner has agreed that Edu can do a clear out of - gasp- "dead money" players to allow the rebuild to continue.

Sowing the seeds for a proper tilt for trophies down the line.

Edit. Edu being their DOS (director of soccer :shhh: )

Playing some very attractive football right now. Arsenal v Leeds is going to be "must watch" television.

I'll be happy as long as we are competitive, John

I remember coming back home from the Emirates after Bielsa side were so impressive particularly in the first-half of the cup game when we lost 1-0. I wasn't too disappointed as I was proud of the way Leeds played that night.

Arsenal back at the top.

No surprise for me the gooners are doing well this season.

That's how to beat the bees.

Toney didn't get the freedom of the park today against a team that defended efficiently.

Four goals in seven games for Jesus.

Not quite Haaland standard but a class signing all the same.

Such a great signing, still only 25 years old too. 45 million pounds looks well worth it now.

I'd have loved us to do a exchange deal with Phillips for Jesus, obviously European football, London & salary were the attractions for Gabriel

Spend the Raphinha money on Aaronson, Roca, Adams & Kristensen.

Apparently we have the best attack in the PL, so the above deal was never going to occur

Arsenal scoring for fun as they go four points clear of Citeh at the top of the table.

The gooners have scored three or more goals in five of their eight games.
