Saudi Arabia will just be another Qatar in terms of complaints about what goes on in the country. Just like Qatar, these complaints will get a small amount of air time but will just be pushed eventually into the background. FIFA will make everything sound wonderful to make sure this tournament goes ahead regardless of whats said about the country, as they care little about anything other than making themselves look good.
This tournament will go ahead and then we move onto the next country wherever that may be and football and Saudi Arabia will be forgotten about. Just like Qatar was, some things will never change.
Agree with other posters above, 100% it should have gone to Uruguay. If it had been one of the big European nations celebrating 100 years it would definitely been held there.

Draw made for 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Bookies name Northern Ireland as favourites to lift the trophy. 😁

All this talk about FIFA allegedly :) getting brown envelopes to play the finals in Saudi Arabia . How much are the FA paying them for all these joke groups they get when having to qualify :) :duno:

Women have been allowed to drive in Saudi for a few years now, they aren't allowed to drink, vote or think but they can drive so it's progress I suppose.

Very strange things happening in Germany.

Robin Koch and Rasmus Kristensen are stalwarts of the team 3rd in Bundesliga with the 3rd best defence.

Earning rave reviews especially Kristensen whose apparently a cult hero for the Eintracht Frankfurt fans.

Technically as he's on loan.

But Frankfurt have a buy option which seemed ridiculous at the time.

But seems every chance they will take it.

He's been brilliant apparently

Borussia Dortmund have sacked manager Nuri Sahin with the Bundesliga giants 10th in the league and having lost to Italian side Bologna in the Champions League last night.

Current favourites are Erik Ten Hag and former Bayern Leverkusen and Benfica manager Roger Schmidt.

Both are understood to be unsure about taking the job mid season.

Our own Daniel Farke appears in the betting odds at 33/1.

He was the reserve coach at Dortmund many moons ago.

Real Madrid v Manchester City in a Champions League knockout match. It is becoming a classic rivalry of our times.

This will be the fourth time the football powerhouses have met in Europe in the last four seasons - but with one big difference.

This time, rather than being in the latter stages, both sides are fighting for their lives to merely make the last 16.

What a shame this match is being played at the same time as our game vs Watford.

Bodø/Glimt 2-1 down to FC Twente in first leg of Europa League.

Went 3-1 down with an own goal 25 minutes into 2nd leg.

They then scored one 2nd half and then scored two 92nd and 94th minute to actually be winning in normal time.

FC Twente then got a 96th minute goal to send it to extra time.

Bodø/Glimt then got 2 goals I extra time to win

Mad game.
