Re: Radrizzani
Wouldn't it also have meant that LUST would have been notified of Radrizzani using the stadium as collateral?
Makes you wonder if it was allowed to lapse on purpose.

Yes... but I imagine there was a deliberate decision not to renew, rather than it being a simple oversight.Carrick Dave wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2023 10:01 pm According to that article it lapsed in October 2022 Sara, probably pre-Sampdoria for Radz.
Radrizzani originally bought the stadium as an investment for himself, and he's known for a long time that he will be exiting the club sooner rather than later.
It's not too much of a stretch to see him doing whatever he can to strengthen his financial position when he goes... especially considering what he's lost with relegation.
Speculation, of course, but the fact remains the stadium has lost what little protection it had, and Radrizzani has shown that he is prepared to jeopardise the club's future for his own benefit.

Re: Radrizzani
Ok, fair comment. What I don’t get though is that while the club (Radz) was a signatory in 2017, he is unlikely to sign again now, so how do LUST expect the council to ratify the renewal?SaraM wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2023 8:49 am Yes... but I imagine there was a deliberate decision not to renew, rather than it being a simple oversight.

I don't know, I haven't looked into all the details of how it works.Carrick Dave wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2023 2:15 pm Ok, fair comment. Luke Ayling has been seen out in town with a 49ers top on - so maybe they have secured full ownership? Source TSB.
Or Bill is just letting it be known where his locyalities now lay?
