I think he will be a GREAT player for us. He's coming off injury and still getting fit. But you can see the quality.Cjay wrote: ↑Tue Aug 30, 2022 11:06 pm Quality finish when we needed one.
Bit of something out of nothing as Raph used to do.
Lovely to see a right footer striking so well with his weaker foot given so many of our players are very one footed.
Bamford, Roca, Harrison, James etc.
Two goals and two Quality ones at that.
Well done Luis.

Re: Luís Sinisterra
Class act today. Suspected we signed a star from the YouTube highlights. Nice to see him do well in his couple of starts. Definitely has a lot about him and looks our best wide player now.Cjay wrote: ↑Tue Aug 30, 2022 11:06 pm Quality finish when we needed one.

One year until we take the cash from a champions league team or two?
Re: Luís Sinisterra
Yep, two years maximum we'll get out of him, just like Raph.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 1:43 am Class act today. Suspected we signed a star from the YouTube highlights. Nice to see him do well in his couple of starts. Definitely has a lot about him and looks our best wide player now.

At least we have a player to replace Raph who will definitely get fans out of their seats whenever he's on the ball.

Impressive 60 minutes vs Everton.
Another special goal to follow up his sublime strike against Barnsley.

Glad I don't have to put up with that kind of commentary....

Re: Luís Sinisterra
Luis Sinisterra in a 3-2 win vs. Mexico:
100% pass accuracy
45 mins played
18 touches
9/9 successful passes
3 duels won
2 shots on-target
2 goals
1 tackle won
1 interception
1 clearance
Came on at half-time and scored twice in 7 minutes to level from a 0-2 deficit.
Re: Luís Sinisterra - Two goals in seven minutes for Columbia
Anyone else thinking he may turn out to be an even better signing than Raphinha?

I think so, Chilli.
I can't recall Raphinha scoring many long range shots or with his head. Quite a few of his goals were from the penalty spot.
Three shots from outside the box with supreme accuracy into the corner of the net with his three Leeds goals. In fact I can only remember Luis missing the target once at the far post against Brighton.

I don’t know if he’s better, would be too early to speculate but his accuracy is impressive. Check his goal v Brentford. Very clever. That kind of skill you have or you don’t1964white wrote: ↑Wed Sep 28, 2022 11:13 am I think so, Chilli.

He has proved already that he is a great buy.
Raph was the business for us but and I mean this with great respect for him, we wont miss him ifhe stays fit
