I suspect we'll be linked with another 20 or so players before the window shuts as we have funds available with phillips and raphinha on the move.
Well, phillips deffo, funny as owt if raph stays like.

Agree with what you say Lufcste. The YouTube video looks very impressive. If it happens he looks like a fair Raphinha replacement. Good with both feet, pacey & happy to pass the ball rather than trying to do it all himself

Feyenoord's record fee stands at 16.2M atm, surprisingly.

Only small concern I have is a lot of Dutch league standouts flop.

Very hit and miss

Playing for a top team in the Dutch league makes me concerned...

Summerville was a starter in this league two/three years ago...and in the two years since he's got nowhere near the first eleven

Summerville wasn't valued at £20m though, Dan

Aye, I know, but some of those clips are not so good.

Hope this fella is for real if we sign him.

This one not as much of a rumour already. Quite a lot of big outlets seem to be confident the deal is done and all. were as the other players we seem to have been linked with are from very unreliable and smaller outlets bar Adams of course. They reckon the club and the player both agreed it was a 'no brainer' so the deal was waiting to be done. But i'd agree with you also, we must not stop bringing in players until its too late. Even if it is for squad depth, we need the numbers for sure. Bit of quality and experience off the bench would do nicely too.

Don't envy the young man if he is Raph's replacement.

By a mile the hardest job in the team such was the importance of the Brazilian number 10.

We also can't afford any of this "ah well he needs 12 months to adapt".

He needs to hit the ground running if he arrives.
