It was scoring the greatest goal in the WC in the same game, leading a weak Argentina team to win the WC and an even weaker team to a WC final, dragging Napoli from nothing to 2 titles and a UEFA Cup etc.

I've made my appointment for Specsavers. I only saw it last night like everyone else but I thought it was in.
It looked just like at corner kicks when the ball is outside of the arc. You can see all of the line but a bit of the ball is overhanging the line which makes it legal. The incident last night looked just the same to me.

Can't quote faaip as I'm blocked, but if that is the case, why do England constantly get shown up on the big stage?

First thing Leeds academy should be doing is showing a group of 8 year olds videos of the Croatians passing and moving the ball in midfield. England will never win anything until we can produce midfielders like Modric.

The funny thing is I was in Germany for the group stages in 2010 and the Germans were all cheering for England. It's a one sided rivalry, much like us and the dog botherers.

Because they're not as good as the media and pundits would have you believe they were? Also, Prem is full of overseas players

Dodgy penalty to Ghana and a pathetic effort by Ayew with all of the venom of a Patrick Bamford shot.

Uruk Hai player blatantly stamps on a Ghanaian and ref and VAR don't even give a fre kick.
Two Uruk Hai fall over and both given free kicks. FFS

Also the body check in the box on the Uruguayan player. Seems VAR can’t be arsed today

Lineker talking about testing players for when we play France! Reminds me of Rio talking about the quarter finals during the build up to Iceland. They just never learn.

Yeah but that body check on that Uruguayan, he went down feigning that he'd been elbowed in the face. The ref saw the deceit, and spoke with him, but failed to penalize him.
Poor officiating.
Also the linesman stood and watched the stamping incident and did nothing, that should have been a straight red card.
