Norm RIP
It is with great sadness that I have to announce that long time forum stalwart and sometimes grumpy bugger Norm passed away earlier this year.
His good lady Debbie informed me earlier today,.
Norm loved Leeds United and this forum as well, and was well known for the time and effort he put into his "files" and provided stats to make CJay green with envy.
He always talked about this forum with Debbie and his son Michael, and has been sadly missed by this poster and I am sure by many of the old timers here on the forum.
Goodnight Norm mate, you will not be forgotten.

Oh I am very sad about this.
My stat friend.
Very grateful that his dear wife Debbie pmd me also.
Really upset about this.
Was very supportive of all my stat ramblings and was a great help when I considered leaving myself and made me my own thread which helped a lot at the time.
Spoke in pm and he was clearly a very keen and proud supporter and adored his family.
Extremely sad
RIP Norm and thank you.

Re: Norm RIP
That is really sad news.
Norm joined MOT ten days after Adam had set this site up back in 2003.
I knew Norm wasn't well back in March, it would seem the major operation he was due to have didn't go as well as expected.
Condolences to his wife Debbie & son Michael.

Re: Norm RIP
I'm afraid he didn't Bob. Debbie put the trip off until August as Norm wasn't well, and he passed in May.

Re: Norm RIP
You sort of feared the worst, what with him not posting for so long.
Very sad he never made it back to the UK.

Really sad to hear this, and sorry he never made it back to England. Had some good chats with Norm, he was an online friend and a thoroughly decent chap imo. He will be much missed. Condolences to his family, and RIP Norm. All the best in your next adventure! X
