Re: Gareth Bale flag
He should retire from international football now. However, I suspect that the FAW will seek to arrange an attractive friendly in Cardiff so he (and possibly Ramsey) can bow out in front of a Home crowd

Re: Gareth Bale flag
Didn't really notice him in any of the three games, apart from thet penalty.
They will struggle without Bale and Ramsey though. If they are hanging their hopes on Kieffer Moore they are in trouble.

They were taking up Brennan Johnson last night as the next messiah.

Tbf, BJ is a decent player, another we've been linked with in the very near past, would take him over harrison.

Re: Gareth Bale flag
Joking aside. What a player Gareth Bale has been.
Probably the most successful player to come from UK shores and win 5 Champions League medals.
In his day he was unplayable.
Wales has such a small pool of players to choose from and to get to the World Cup over Scotland is a massive achievement.

In all fairness, wales have had some world class players who never made the biggest stage of all, Southall, Radcliffe, Rush, Giggs and many more excellent players.

After all the emotion has died down about not being in the World Cup for thousands of years and Welsh singing ( which was awesome ) etc etc, they will look at this tournament and own up that they were pretty awful.
Tactically reactive a major failure in my eyes and they scored one penalty. Even the passion that got them there was missing.

Hopefully now, the English media will remember that the English (national) team is still there in the tournament, who knows, they might even write/say something positive about us for a change, even better, get behind us !!VinnysTattoo wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 3:28 pm After all the emotion has died down about not being in the World Cup for thousands of years and Welsh singing ( which was awesome ) etc etc, they will look at this tournament and own up that they were pretty awful.
