As is Back in Black then I should imagine ... I'm a one album AC/DC bloke tbh and no real clue of their history or the where and whens of the line ups ...
When does a band become a Triggers Broom band?

Not really the case with AC/DC as Angus and Malcolm Young were the mainstays for their entire career until Malcolm died fairly recently.
There's just something about those Bon Scott albums, though, that isn't there after he died, they became famous, and the production changed. It's perfect summer driving music imo.

Our driving music differs that's for sure. I like hard rock/metal in the winter whereas summer it's the season of Spirit and stuff like Death in Vegas and FSOL ... Ozricss maybe. King Hannah also great on a summers day for some reason

Different vibes... I don't really consider early AC/DC to be metal, or even particularly heavy rock, just raw, energetic rock n roll. Other things in the car... Tom Petty, Happy Mondays... stuff that doesn't require too much listening attention.
