Here you go, a different take:
"Orta raises serious red flags for me in his professional capacity, something I've been harking back to as far as Eddie Nketiah. Things with regards to his foresight, planning and risk management I just find absolutely shocking. The recruitment of Nketiah would have raised initial alarm bells in that he presented this massive presentation to Nketiah about how he would fit into Bielsa's team, yet Bielsa takes one look at him and sticks him in the reserves for four months even when Bamford wasn't scoring. That, from a managerial perspective, would raise questions with me as to the congruity with regards to Orta's work and the thoroughness with which he was carrying out his duties."
"I won't even go into the JKA thing. The worst signing in the history of football, and he [Orta] should have been sacked for that there and then. But one thing on JKA - he was brought in to have an immediate impact but he was fat, overweight, unfit, he was not prepared for an immediate impact and that again is a lack of preparation from Orta. Despite the fact we knew Eddie Nketiah was going in the middle of December back to Arsenal we didn't get JKA in until the 27th January. The lack of preparedness is shocking."
"A big one on the risk management, it might seem small but it shows an insight into his thought process, is the loan situation. So last season, in a threadbare squad, we had Cody Drameh and Leif Davis both out on loan ... without a recall clause. Now I know some people would have said 'look, Bielsa wouldn't have had them back anyway' and that's fine, but that's not the point. As a sports professional, your job is to mitigate the risk for Leeds United. And if you're not doing that you're not carrying out your duties correctly. The fact is Victor Orta should have had a recall clause in for both of those players, in fact for all players going out on loan, to protect Leeds United against any eventuality. If we don't need to use it, absolutely fine. But its prudent, and its best practice, to have these risk management factors installed into contracts so that Leeds United is not left exposed."
"And unfortunately we're seeing that same level of negligence in his follow-up to Jesse Marsh. Jesse Marsh has been a complete failure in my eyes, and another Orta project, but regardless of that and regardless of how much he was supporting Jesse Marsh, he had to have a plan in place for if Marsh quit, or if Marsh was sacked. Its very clear he has absolutely no plan in place. The man is not fit to hold the office, he's not qualified in any way - he's a journalist - and to be quite honest I think his decisions, now that Bielsa has gone and can't protect him, have really put us in a perilous position. What did we do to deserve Victor Orta? I do not know."

Wrong thread really but you only have to look at his job history.
As a more junior member with limited control he lasted years at Sevilla whilst being managed by the brilliant Monchi.
Left to his own devices as the boss he lasted
11 months as Zenit
18months at Elche
18 months at Boro where the promotion had 0 to do with him, were well on there way before he arrived mid season.
Following relegation he was massively criticised.
Then here where he has had 3 managers last less than a year.
The promotion was a high point and people like Raph and to a lesser degree Struijk and Meslier etc and Bielsa.
I don't think his academy work is all that, we were a lower league youth team when he arrived and we still are.
But then you have the literal tens of millions on JKA and Nketiah and Firpo and paying off Marsch and all that stuff
The embarrassing videos of him taunting fans.
The consistent willingness to leave the club short in key areas.
He is basically a frustrated coach who got into journalism got in with the right people and worked his way up.
I imagine his passion and stuff goes down well with higher ups and he is very convincing.
And I'm sure he does work hard, he is a Football geek and that is time consuming.
But can't help but feel that he is vastly under qualified for the amount of power he has here and his ego and desperation to be seen as a unique thinker and revolutionary even at the expense of the club will cost any club that employs him.
But also his behaviour.
The idea the Chelsea owners would put up with his behaviour is laughable.
And I'm sure it plays a part in why he doesn't last long most of the time.
Kinnear is to weak to do anything and plays it off as a joke.
But proper serious people with very deep pockets who care about PR would sack him for that alone.
