Meslier... 5....Should have saved the first goal, no chance with the other two.
Bogle.... 5.....Looks good going forward, but i already have concerns about his defensive qualities. Why would you take the risk of putting your arms around an opponent in your own box and pushing down on him in injury time?
Firpo....6.....Okay game today, seen him look better in the pre season games.
Rodon... 5....Not looked himself so far this season, struggling with his distribution.
Struijk... 8....Our best defender today, looked commanding, and a cooly taken penalty too.
Ampadu... 9....Dominant in midfield, a Captains performance.
Gruev... 7.5....Delivered well from set pieces, great free kick and got forward a few times.
James... 7....Was very lively on the ball, and won the penalty with his pace. Needed to be given the ball more.
Georginio... 8....Full of tricks and intelegent passing.
Gnonto... 8.5... Back to his best, nice goal, should have stayed on in my view.
Joseph... 8...Played well i thought, looked sharp and held the ball up well, missed one very good chance.

Aaronson.... 7.5...A real mixed bag. Lost the ball a few times, then popped up to score a priceless equaliser. Had the chance to win it when clear through but dragged his shot wide. The positive is seeing him get in those positions.
Piroe.... 7....A lovely pass to set uo Aaronsons chance.
Rothwell... 6....did not see much from him, but sat in a deep role.
Bamford... 5....did not have much chance ro impact the game.

Ref.... 3...Very inconsistent with what he saw as fouls and yellow cards.

Rodon - 4 (Very obviously injured, as early as the first half. Should have been subbed)
Ampadu - 8 (Despite looking to go forward in the first half, had to play a lot deeper in the 2nd half I assume to help Rodon.
Gruev - 5 (Fantastic free kick but after the first 20mins his set piece deliveries got progressively worse)
James - 5 (Had a good first 20mins or so but faded badly. He didn't look very fit)
Gnonto - 5 (Probably should have scored at least 1 more goal, poor shooting let him down)
Georgie - 3 (I love Georgie but he was bullied out of the game. Lost the ball too often, trying his tricks when the simple pass is on.
Joseph - 6 (Looked strong, kept showing and he will get better I'm sure)


Rothwell - 4 (Didn't really get involved. I hope he starts instead of Gruev next game. Let's see what he can do over a full game)
Piroe - 5 (Tried to look busy, made a couple of nice passes. I'd like to see him play alongside Joseph, drop James and play 2 up top)
Aaronson - 5 (Think he was on a good 10 mins before he got a touch of the ball, once he did though he looked ok)
Bamford - 4 (Thought he was gonna come of after that heavy tackle. Wasn't really involved after that)

Ref - 8 for the 1st half. 3 for the 2nd. Think somebody got in his head at half time, he let them get away with all sorts, pulling shirts, shorts, limbs, blocking and holding, time wasting (Game Management apparently)
