I was struggling to keep my eyes open during the game. We were a clone of west brom. It was a dull boring performance with no edge of seat action by either team. The club for whatever reason have sold all our flair and skill and we are left with players who would rank 5 or below in a pack of football trump cards for skill and flair. Only Willy would rank at 6. Its going to be a long season for this middle of the table side.

Meslier 5: Nothing to do really.
Bogle 6: A few loose passes but looked lively in both defence and attack.
Rodon 6: Same as above on the passes. Useful in the air.
Struijk 7: He tried to score.
Firpo 6: Steady eddy Firpo.
Ampadu 6: Put himself about but nothing to aim at from the halfway line forward.
Gruev 4: I don't think him and Amps complement each other well. Too similiar.
James 3: Poor overall. Not surprising now we have no one to pick him out.
Gnonto 6: Looked like he was going to burst into tears at any moment. His pals have gone will he will be pushing hard behind the scenes?
Piroe 3: One foray forward into space but back to sleep after that.
Joseph 3: No service for the kid. The slow build up backwards sideway stuff continues.

Bamford
Aaronson 3: Had one decent touch.
Rothwell 3: Can't remember him at all. Maybe i had fallen a sleep at that point.

Pablo's/Rutters don't grow on trees and especially at the money we are spending. On that evidence we have no one to nit things together in the opposition box. After missing the first two games that may be seen has a good point? I found it depressing sorry. That type of football is ok when a team is coming from a low bar looking to build. Maybe Farke does rely on certain individuals rather than the collective like Bielsa did. Still early days tho.......

I agree, 1000.

Gruev, James, Piroe & Joseph were really poor!

Difficult to judge our three attacking subs, as they hardly got a touch of the ball, due to most of the play being in our own half.
