I'm not sure, I'd be giving 8's to players who were part responsible for us losing that game.

Had joseph & Gnonto converted their easy chances, we'd have won or at least got something out of the game.

We have a corner, then Soloman slips up on dry grass, the pitch looked perfect, you couldn't write it!!!

That goal was almost a replica of the one the Blunts scored against Hull last night, déjà vu.

Meslier - 5 - flappy and not confidence inspiring. The gap between he and Trafford is stark.
Bogle - 5 - Wasn’t that great offensively and another defensively shaky performance. I don’t blame him much for the goal…as he was out on an island. Perhaps should’ve just went straight at Koleosho and hoped for the best, but it was a tricky situation.
Firpo - 6 - was arguably our most creative player in stretches, but a bit meh by his standard
Ampadu - 6.5 - decent performance from our Captian, but below his standard. Wish he had a better long-range shot in his arsenal. Hope his ankle is okay. If he is truly injured, he probably should’ve come off at the half.
Rodon - 5.5 - a bit below what I’d call an average Rodon performance as he had some nervy moments.
Struijk - 6.5 - similar to Ampadu, a defent performance, but below his standard.
Solomon - 6 - thought he was one of our most dangerous players, but can’t go higher than a 6 due to the slip. Not sure I agree with his substitution as I would’ve hone in a different direction.
Gruev - 4 - AWFUL. Back pass and lateral pass machine that actually deflated the energy of certain attacks. And two (all?) of his “progressive passes” found no one.
Joseph - 5.5 - Really, really liked his hustle and pressing. Really, really disliked his wasting of quality chances.
Aaronson - 6.5 - Thought he put in a shift, especially for having just played a match Wednesday night (US time). Had some lovely through balls to Gnonto and the one to Solomon that should’ve been a penalty. Went down a little too easily for my taste on a couple of occasions.
Gnonto - 6 - looked dangerous at times, but man, he needs to bury that sitter that Aaronson laid out for him.

Piroe - 4 - Stagnant. Farke needs to really think long and hard about when to use Piroe. Games in which a low block is being faced is a poor game to bring Piroe on, IMHO. He doesn’t run or press enough to affect the game. Thought we lost energy when he came on.
Rothwell - 5.5 - Meh
Byram - 5.5 - Meh
Ramazani - N/A - 15-20 minutes? Why bother even bringing him on? Would’ve brought him on for Aaronson at leaat another 10 minutes sooner.
Tanaka - N/A - Similar to Ramazani, not enough time to come on and impact the game. I would’ve pulled Gruev around 55 minutes and put him on instead (unless Ampadu ends up truly being hurt and then at HT for Ampadu would’ve been my choice).

5 Meslier - Didn't have much to do.

3 Bogle - Disappointed with our new RB, expect much more from him.

7 Rodon - After a nervy start, Joe was fine. Not as bad as some think.

7 Struijk - Steady & efficient.

4 Firpo - Junior's game riddled with errors.

7 Ampadu - Lost our shape & control once Ethan was subbed.

6 Gruev - Did OK.

6 Gnonto - Lots of running & energy with no end product.

7 Aaronson - Brenden putting together a string of consistent displays, the pass for Gnonto's miss was sublime.

7 Solomon - Plenty of silky skills & nice touches, deserved a stonewall penalty after making a run into the Burnley box.

6 Joseph - Why lean sideways as Mateo took his shot? Unlucky with his effort in the second-half, unfortunately Burnley had a decent goalie between the sticks in Trafford.
