Rothwell was very good tonight.

He was mate - what he does is unappreciated by many. I was not that impressed by Piroe in comparison to others. He turned like a tanker for that swivel and shot and was very average at holding the ball up when challenged. Not saying he had a bad game, but I never saw him as a stand out.

I think Solomon nicks it for me he caused them all sorts of problems, his quality is beginning to shine through. Good partnership starting to form with Byram.

I thought we lost control of the game when Rothwell went off personally.

After missing what must have been a rollercoaster win on Sunday, it was back to Fortress Elland Rd where we are proving to be a formidable force with another comfortable professional win. Luton had a couple of chances on the break but they were inferior in every department. If we get the goals to go with our dominance then the, shall we say, steadier parts of our game make sense in the end. Great to see Ramz back out there at the end injecting that unpredictability he brings. Can't fault it.

Meslier 7: Quite for the most part but Two good saves towards the end to keep another clean sheet.
Bogle 7:
Byram 7.5: Sam pulling out a scissor kick. What the hell was he thinking.
Struijk 8: Pascal was very good. That clearance off the line obviously as good as a goal. He's looking back to his best.
Rodon 7.5:
Tanaka 8: Juts so consistent its becoming predictable.
Rothwell 7.5: I love it when he sprints into space. It changes the dynamics in the panic stations.
Aaronson 7:
Gnonto 7.5:
Solomon 8: Showed glimpses tonight what he's all about. Can he stay fit? Lets hope so.
Piroe 7.5: Another goal for Joel and i guess if he keeps doing that i can forgive his overall game.

Wober: Noticeable when he came on the crowd didn't acknowledge him. The only way he gets in is thru injury or suspension.

On to Blackburn after they just beat Boro. With the squad starting to look whole again i fear no one. Shame i will be stuck in work again tho.
