Just wondering what does Meslier have to do to impress you as personally thought he was pretty close to flawless tonight ?

I missed the save....will likely add a point once I've seen it. I usually score Mes higher than most

Meslier - 7 good save first half to quieten the nerves, confident on the ball
Bogle - one of his best performances of the season - 8
Byram - 7 no problems for Sam
Ampadu - 7 did a good job protecting the backline and midfield
Rodon - 7.5 Some good runs forward along with some good passes
Struijk - 7 Played well, never lookind in any danger and read the danger well
Rothwell - 7 good central midfield display.
James - 8 - always a threat from the right side, a few wild passes and crosses, but found his feet when needed .
Aaronson - 7.5 worked hard, good assist for Leeds second goal.
Piroe - 8.5 man of the match. played some good lay offs , set himself up for 2 great goals.
Soloman - 6.5 did ok, nothing outstading, should have buried one chance he had.

Fair enough and it was an excellent save with his right foot from a well struck shot. Plus it was just the sort of chance we've been conceding from this season so to keep it out early on was especially important.

No way not in a million years

I missed the first 5 or 6 mins so missed the save ,but his score was more about with how very little he had to do rather than a poor performance.

Well if you missed his best piece of action then it's understandable that you marked him lower than most. To be honest with the fog is was difficult to identify players and even where the ball was at times.

Meslier - 8 Crucial early save and probably his best game of the season.
Bogle - 8.5 Again probably his best game, seemed to find loads of space & had a great link up with James.
Rodon - 7.5 Steady as a rock & positive with his forward passing.
Struijk - 7.5 Looked a little nervous when put under pressure but grew into the game, can’t sell him in January.
Byram - 7 If we could keep him fit I’d have him over Firpo every week, far better defender but maybe doesn’t offer as much going forward..
Ampadu - 8 Getting back to his best form, makes the game look effortless.
Rothwell - 7.5 What an engine this lad has, excellent signing by the club
Solomon - 7 Solid game but not involved as much since a lot of the play went down the right.
James - 8 Rushed a few efforts early on but will always make chances and stayed strong under pressure for the second goal.
Aaronson - 8 Another player with an incredible engine and seemed more assured on the ball last night.
Piroe - 9 Good old Joel, silenced a few of the boo boys last night, excellent finish for the first goal and in the right place for the second. Hopefully his confidence is up & he can go on a run of goals now.

"Made a good stop inside the first two minutes from Lewis Koumas. Didn't have much to do otherwise but that save at 0-0 alone was important given Leeds' frustration away from home before this game. 7"
