Bob Roxburgh took charge of Leeds United briefly in the early 1959 during a transitional period for the club. Previously a coach and trainer, he stepped up to the managerial following Bill Lambton's departure. His tenure was short and largely uneventful, with few notable achievements on the pitch. Roxburgh soon returned to backroom duties, and while his time as manager was brief, he remained part of the club's support staff for many years.
