Brian McDermott became Leeds United manager in 2013 after a successful spell at Reading. His time at Elland Road was overshadowed by ownership instability and internal turmoil. He was infamously sacked and reinstated within days amid confusion under owner Massimo Cellino. Despite some promising results, he was dismissed in 2014. McDermott never managed at the top level again but remained active in football as a scout and advisor.
