Jack Taylor managed Leeds United between 1959 and 1961. A solid football man with previous experience at QPR, Taylor was unable to turn around the club's fortunes during a challenging Second Division spell. His tenure ended just as Don Revie's legendary era was beginning. While his impact on the pitch was minimal, Taylor's period in charge served as a transition toward a brighter future.
