Jock Stein, one of the most successful managers in Scottish football history, was briefly appointed Leeds United manager in 1978. However, after just 44 days, he left the club to manage Scotland's national team. Though his impact at Leeds was minimal, his brief presence added gravitas to the club during a transitional phase. He remains more closely associated with his historic achievements at Celtic.
