Leeds United v Boothtown Record

Boothtown AFC
Founded: 1898
Ground: Unknown

Boothtown AFC was a historic local club from the Halifax area. Very little documented history survives, but like many small town clubs, it formed part of the vibrant amateur and semi-professional football scene of early 20th-century Yorkshire. As per the rules, any newly formed club was forced to enter the FA Cup at the First Qualifying Round, and so Leeds first opponents in the FA Cup in 1920 were Boothtown.
