Leeds faced Rangers in the 1992–93 UEFA Champions League qualifying round. Rangers won both legs, 2-1 and 2-1, knocking out Leeds in a tie dubbed the 'Battle of Britain'. The matches were highly anticipated and remain among the most memorable European nights in Leeds' history.
