Leeds United v Hereford United Record

Hereford United FC
Founded: 1924
Ground: Edgar Street

Hereford United, founded in 1924, gained national fame for their FA Cup giant-killing of Newcastle United in 1972. Based at Edgar Street in Herefordshire, the club was a staple of lower-league football until financial troubles led to its expulsion in 2014.

Leeds United played Hereford United in the early rounds of cup competitions, and though the meetings were infrequent, they typically went in Leeds’ favour. The clubs were often connected through shared players and regional loan deals.
