Season 1924-1925 Details
Run on a shoe-string budget, Leeds United found themselves ill equipped for the rigours of Division One and they had to reach for the cheque book in March to avoid relegation. Willis Edwards, Tom Jennings and Russell Wainscoat were all brought in and would all make huge contributions to the United cause, both short-term and long-term. All three played their part in winning three of the final five games helping Leeds to finish 18th with 34 points.
