Re: Leeds U21s
Only to be expected based on what Subhuman and AJS have already said. They'll get better as they get more hair on their balls. Many of those who have played for the U21's this season will be playing in the FA Youth Cup Final. Had we used some of our redundant bench, we'd probably be higher up in th...

Re: New number 9
It is needed indeed and something that Farke didn't get this summer due to circumstance that were not of his control. I am sure he would have liked to have brought players in early but we were hamstrung by not knowing who was staying, who was leaving and how much money we had. By the time things be...

Re: New number 9
Sarmiento is a good player, I'm amazed he is only on the bench for Ipswich most weeks. But he's only on loan so will be back with Brighton in the summer. Moore & Sarmiento would have been great for us Chilli, however we more or less turned a blind eye on the January window, nothing unusual there!

Re: New number 9
As a matter of interest, when do people think that we last signed a really decent no 9 at the club ? Personally speaking, I wouldn't classify Bamford as a really decent no 9, due to his inconsistent form, his lengthy goal droughts, his fragile confidence, plus him being very injury prone over the y...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 2nd May) Should Leeds go for broke on Saturday
we need to start with our strongest in form players. That means resting Rondon and moving Amps into midfield (his best (position) and having Cooper ( his last game for LUFC, so he will be on it) and Cresswell who had a great season with Millwall last season. But, Rodon & Ampadu are our most in-...

Durly is a master for finding mellow music, from the Delines to Washington to Arnalds & many more.

Re: Album of 2011 (Part III) - VOTE NOW!
On occasions have seen people re-order their initial picks, for example reversing 2nd and 3rd in their list. However, very unusual for an album not even in the initial top 5 then appearing in 2nd spot ……….unless, I guess, you hadn’t listened to it before voting the first time :duno: I also liked it...

Re: Today's Games
He isn't going to change, he's stubborn like most managers and this is his style. Without starting WW3. You travel up and down the country watching us (credit to you). You've just said his style is boring to watch (fully agree). If we don't go up this season he's fundamentally failed in his primary...

I'd have taken Moore in a heartbeat in January.Ellandback1 wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 8:37 am Moore adds something different. He's a big lump (just like me), can hold the ball up, and is a fantastic headerer of the ball
We lack a big brute what is needed in the championship.

Re: Today's Games
And that's purely down to Farke He needs to change our approach play, as it's predictable & bores the pants off the majority of our fans. It far removed from being innovative as it generally puts our defenders under pressure when pressed with Meslier booting the ball up field, no point if we ar...
