Re: Horse Racing News.

😁 It’s the May meeting so it’s priced accordingly. Derby & Oaks trials so decent racing. Such a unique track. Definitely worth a visit. Ah right, I guess that's fair enough. And, like you say, you'll pay that bit extra for decent racing. I've never been in that part of the world before; if I ev...

Lots of people on the wall for a free days racing.
£43 for Tatts!!
Ouch, that's pretty steep. DR do a £12.50 special, which gets you in, a beer and a burger. Extra for the posh lounges, but I'm happy track side with the great unwashed!

Re: Horse Racing News.

That bend were looking down on is about 2 furlongs out Nick. That’s where they start the 2m2f Chester Cup. The track is a mile in circumference. So the 5 furlong start is directly the other side of the track from where we were on the wall. Permanently turning. I’ve walked round it a few times. :tup...

Re: Horse Racing News.

Nearer the starting stalls for the 5F sprints. Good entertainment for a freebie though. ah yes, that would be about right, Leon Absolutely, I've been known to do the same at Down Royal. There's a vantage point on a road that runs adjacent to the track where you can see part of the back straight, th...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 9th May)

Sutton is a prick but, on the back of our run-in form, he's right, we are there for the taking. Time for Farke and the players to stand up and be counted in what is basically a three game tournament. I'm resigned to losing Cree and Willie, whatever league we end up in next season. I can live with th...
