Re: Premier League Thread - Poch leaves Chelsea
He's a great unknown and will be careful what I say as I'll just get accused of Farke bashing again. But I didn't bring him up. Probably more a conversation for if we are promoted rather than now. End of the day though no manager breaks records like Farke did in the Premier League if they aren't ma...

Re: Connor Roberts
Always knew they'd be taking him back for the Championship. He probably would have worked for us, whichever division we're in.
Archie has done really well at RB. But if we get promoted, we need a specialist RB and we need to start developing Archie as a midfielder.

Re: Play Off Final - Leeds Utd v Southampton
Villa haven't achieved anything yet. They're gonna need to spend a lot just to stand still and a Champions league season will be very tough on them... Hard to see them finish top 8 next season If we'd fired Marsch, hired Emery, and finished 4th a year later - I'd be delighted with that achievement.

Re: Cricket 2024

Graves returned to the county at the start of the year with the club in a challenging financial position. In a statement on the club website,, external he outlined that Yorkshire lost £2.7m last y...

Re: Premier League Thread - Poch leaves Chelsea
In context of the Premier League nobody will touch him and the media know that hence why he's not mentioned in any odds or anything. We can talk about this season as Leeds fans or his Norwich record for Championship. But for this thread topic he hasn't a hope of a Premier League job hence why he is...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 21st May) Touts charging Leeds fans double for final tickets
Watch the game at home and then out to join the celebrations straight after maybe ? On the other hand if we lose there might be some walls that need fisting so probably better to damage someone else's. The gathering will be in Santa Monica. Which is 2 hours away. You had me at "celebrations.&q...

Re: Play Off Final - Leeds Utd v Southampton
We've lost 0 games after taking the lead. Southampton have lost 3. Southampton have conceded 63 goals which is the 2nd most of any Playoff side since the division was changed to The Championship . Lot of praise for how they've taken us apart before (that is on the manager to fix). But if you are pl...

Re: Play Off Final - Leeds Utd v Southampton
If we play like we did against Norwich we can beat anyone so don't worry about Southampton let them worry about us. I watched their game against WBA and they were not great against a side that made Norwich look good. My only concern is that it seems Bamford has declared himself "fit" but ...

Re: Play Off Final - Leeds Utd v Southampton
Should be a fun day out for the club. I am slightly worried that some of our fans will make arses of themselves but it's not som2thing I can control. I have already decided that come what may to be graceful in defeat, awful in victory and personally block all the hand wringing hindsight blamers if ...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 21st May) Touts charging Leeds fans double for final tickets
Much as I like going to games I do find I often spend more time talking to mates as I do actually watching the match. It might sound miserable as F**k but I actually quite enjoy sequestering myself away and watching on my own these days and that’s what I’ll be doing Sunday. Dreamt of losing on sund...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 21st May) Touts charging Leeds fans double for final tickets
I watched that too. Absolute parasites. They tried to justify smashing their way into the Stadium for the love of their Country. Why aren't they in jail? Funny that the guy on top of the bus was proud of his accomplishment. He's right there admitting it on camera. How has he not been charged? I fel...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 21st May) Touts charging Leeds fans double for final tickets
I know it’s a different level, but I recently watched the documentary on the “invasion “ of Wembley at the 2021 euros final with Italy. One guy was giving his piece to camera about how frightened he was, some rugby player I think, and he said his daughter was petrified, because it was her very firs...

Re: Southampton pre match chat
Is he a Saints fan  more to the point, is he any good? Just looked him up. I don't recognize his face. Born in Leicestershire. Been a PL ref since December 2021. I guess that's not a whole lot of experience. Wikipedia doesn't say much other than highlighting one error: In December 2021, Brooks...

Re: Southampton pre match chat
Too many people getting worried about their players, and not enough respect for the players we have. Farke knows what to do, its up to our players to go out and perform like we all know they can do. If they play to their potential then we win this game. For me midfield is the key area for us. Win t...

Marcus Rashford and Jordan Henderson have been left out of Gareth Southgate's provisional 33-man England squad for Euro 2024. Goalkeepers: Dean Henderson (Crystal Palace), Jordan Pickford (Everton), Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal), James Trafford (Burnley). Defenders: Jarrad Branthwaite (Everton), Lewis D...

Re: European/World Football
Bayer Leverkusen have officially the longest unbeaten record in all competitions in European Football history. A draw with AS Roma last week was enough to overtake the 50 year record held by the legendary Benfica side of the 1960s lead by the iconis Eusebio. Leverkusen followed that up at the weeke...
