Re: Norwich Away - Post Match Thread
Where’s all this stuff come from about the crowd on Thursday ?. Yes, of course, it will be edgy but I can guarantee we will be right behind the players, the noise will be deafening and if the players can’t be lifted by it then nothing will get them going. Sorry but some fans are not right behind pa...

Re: Norwich Away - Post Match Thread
I think they'd appreciate a possession based gameplan with signs of a threat. Do that and it'll be fine. Playing 750 passes that barely pass the halfway line is when people will get nervous and frustrated. Imo harnessing the crowd at Elland Road is vital, you have to give them things to cheer for t...

Re: Norwich Away - Post Match Thread
We definitely haven't gone for the win plenty of times this season, we've plodded and almost bored the fans to death plenty of times. Besides we were 2nd in the final 10 games two or three times and just needed wins vs teams we should beat (Watford and Sunderland for example). I don't think we can ...

Re: Loan Watch
The saddest thing about that statement is I agree. I didn’t realise that until it was just pointed out to me here. I used to have heroes, when I was younger. Then I had role models as I grew older. Then I had players I greatly admired and didn’t think we could do without. Now it’s all a bit meh. Su...

Re: Norwich pre match chat
As others have stated it's 100% correct that we don't need to force anything and having 180 mins to win the tie should work in our favour.
Patience will hopefully see us prosper.

Re: Loan Watch
nor do I want to see any of the possible returnees in a Leeds United shirt ever again :) That was my view also when everyone was jumpring ship after the conclusion of last season. However my stance has mellowed mainly due to the fact that loyalty doesn't really exist in football and we'll see that ...

Re: Loan Watch
Rodon might have found his level in the Championship and could probably do a decent job in the lower half of the PL as well. Would still love to sign him on a permanent basis unless Llorente is returning for next season in which case we'd be unable to afford both.

Re: Loan Watch
Llorente is quality as is Koch, though his loan sees him out of contract this season. Better than Rodon is a toss up though, different type of CB's. The former a cultured on the ball CB and the latter a blood and guts old fashioned CB, though for some reason he appears to have given up blocking sho...

Re: Loan Watch
Some fans would rather languish in the Championship than utilize players that are already ours it would seem.
Difficult to persuade Roca, Harrison and Wober to come back and stay but the three mentioned above should be doable.

Re: Loan Watch
More than likely most of them. Some of them if not all have loan clauses anyway so they can just run contracts down through loans. Genius strategy. Llorente is a far better centre half than Rodon and Kristensen is better than Gray/Roberts at right back. Just my opinion of course. Oh and Aaronson is...

Re: Southampton post match discussion
I think (you probably disagree) but I think DF has very much started to feel the pressure of our club now. It's broken more experienced and proven managers than DF before. Farke is not broken though...not yet at least. An honourable Wembley defeat would be seen as an acceptable first season by most...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Friday 3rd April) Farke gets his excuses in early
We got Jaidon Anthony because we lost Sinisterra. And at the same time, Gnonto was brooding. So we didn't know what we'd get from him. That made James and Summerville our two starting wingers. We did look like we needed back up at the time. Having said that, Anthony has been a disappointment. Didn'...

Re: Our total end of season points prediction
Except that when we went top with 10 games to go we had 82 points, and then just scored 8 points out of a possible 30 - which is relegation form.... We only needed 4 wins, two draws and 4 losses in the last 10 games to go up. Yep unfortunately we finished the season in a similar fashion to the way ...

Re: Our total end of season points prediction
In my opinion all our away fixtures are tough and then we have Hull & Southampton at home as well. Add in the inevitable slip up in a couple of games we should win and it's easy to see how it might go as I've predicted. Pressure does weird things to people remember. So we finished on 90 points ...

Re: Our total end of season points prediction
93 points is now the maximum.
Not looking good but at least we'll finish above Southampton and who know we might even still finish 2nd.

Nice read.
However moving swiftly on...regardless of of the division we're in which of Sheff United's players should we sign in the summer ?

Re: Our total end of season points prediction
Anyone predicting 97 points or more sadly got this one wrong.
That's 23 of you by the way.
