Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tuesday 1st May) - They think it's all over...
Good luck to Ipswich. Not many gave them a chance at the start of the season. Our major problem was not cleaning up against lower opposition. Footballing sides in the main, didn’t give us the issues the park the bus teams did. This has to be down to the tactics and an over reliance on Bamford when J...

Re: QPR v Leeds Utd - Post Match Discussion
We have almost sleep walked into this situation IMO. There was a malaise in the squad I first really noticed at the away game against Plymouth. That was before the international break which I thought came at a good time to recharge the batteries. Seems that someone forgot to switch the charger on. S...

Re: I want playoff football and here's why
Too many bad memories stretching back to the Charlton playoff for me.
Having said that, at the beginning of the season when we were in turmoil, the playoffs were my hopeful target.
I was hoping DF would have built up a head of steam going into them, but it seems the opposite right now.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Monday 15th April) Leeds are falling apart - again
In the cold light of day the one small consolation for me is that finishing in a playoff position was my target for the season. The caveat to that however is that I hoped we would be the late season form team coming into the playoffs. Playing like we have been during the last couple of months points...

I think these last two results have been on the cards for a while.
Can’t get the obsession with Bamford either.

Re: Coventry City post match discussion
Everyone knows this part of the season is a grind, and so it’s turning out to be exactly that. I was at the Plymouth away match and even back then we started to look a bit leggy. Not seen us really convince since then, although it’s probably the same with our competitors. This part of the season is ...

Re: Patrick Bamford
Agree Weasel.
Bamford’s miss gave a flash back to last season late on.
If we were 6 games back I think he would start Joseph, but now I think DF will keep the most experienced line up.
Just hope he doesn’t regret it.

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wednesday 20th March) Phillips linked with Elland Road return
The genius of Bielsa turned him from a player a lot of fans wanted gone, into an England regular.
It’s almost he reverted to the pre Bielsa player, especially after a string of injuries.
His career trajectory reminds me of Beckford. Reaching too high for his ability and then a rapid decent.

I think we’ve been fortunate to have him. At one point it looked like Alladyce might be offered the job, shudder. We were in a right state at the start of the closed season. Owner issues, players jumping ship left and right and no manager at the helm. I for one didn’t expect us to be we are now, pla...

I don’t understand everybody back to defend a corner.
The more you leave up the more they have to outnumber you as a defensive unit.
Leaving Summerville and James up front would give the opposition puppies.

Re: Chelsea v Leeds - Post Match Thread
Two Chelsea supporting friends both said that if we’d played our best eleven we’d have beaten them.
Both also said we were the better side with the team we had out there.
Small margins in the end.

We were the best team second half.
They threw everything at it to get over the line.

I have a Chelsea loving mate coming round for the game so I'm hoping for a decent performance.
No doubt we'll see changes due to some injury niggles.
The pressure is all their manager. Lose and he could be gone.

Re: Jesse Marsch
If we were half as good as his talking ability we’d be playing in the Champions League tonight. You can see he interviews very well and will inevitably bull shine his way into another top job. His tactics are flawed as we all saw, but he is able on live tv to convince some that he is good at what he...

Re: The #LUFC Breakfast Debate (Thursday 15th February) One stumbling block in the way of Rodon's £15m transfer
Forgot about Harrison TBH. Pretty happy to sell him given our current squad. Don’t think he’d be in the first team at the moment. Echo others here. Rodon will be one of a few we might lose if we don’t go up. I think it will be a massive reset if we don’t go up, and statistically it is more difficult...

Re: Rodon & Ampadu/Rodon & Struijk or Other?
My first thought was Rodon and Struijk but there is a good call for Ampadu.
This at least shows we have some decent options. That’s not something you could have had said last season.
Ampadu showing what a versatile player he is.
