And tbf to Piroe he was our best player vs Southampton (slim pickings admittedly)

He may have played well personally but it's a team game and he sits way to deep for a striker and doesn't have the pace to recover. He needs a striker ahead of him.

Bone bruises can take weeks/months depending on the severity, not sure it's easy to evaluate how serious it might be either.

Yes Ayling was let go too soon, but he wanted to go and we know how hard it is to get into Farke's team once dropped. Had he stayed I doubt he'd have played ...
