Re: EU.....In or Out - RESULT
The United Kingdom would most certainly NOT work for just two countries. It would be a constant source of ridicule around the world. This isn't a game of 'let's play around with semantics' Faaip. In case you hadn't noticed some pretty big stuff is happening.

Re: EU.....In or Out - RESULT
I think overall though people are missing the biggest issue of all.
If Scotland ad N.Ireland leave the UK we can no longer call ourselves the UK.
With just Wales and England, we would have no option but to name ourselves WANGLAND and sound like a cheap sex toy outlet.

Re: not a farage fan but
Farage doesn't have 52% of the population, he probably doesn't have 10%. Farage didn't influence this vote that much. He's a clown parading on the sidelines. I was 5 seconds from voting out and had I done so Farage would have had 0% influence in that decision. He's been slowly spreading his poison ...

Re: not a farage fan but
Can you hear what you are saying? Oh yes, 'the people' were not listened to and Farage was correct about the disillusionment amongst the populace, but let's not talk about how right he was, let's call him all the names under the sun for being who he is. Let's ignore the lies that Labour and the Tor...

Yeah, I particularly loved the way that having achieved what he wanted all these years he decided to piss off and alienate the very people we need to deal with or suffer a nasty economic collapse.
What a tosser.

In coming years the English football team will be entered for the World Origami Championships instead.
They prove year after year that folding in competitions is their forte.

Re: New Leeds transfer and head coach/manager rumours thread
The deal for Antonson has been finalised. Looks great on YouTube (Don't they all), but I gather hope from the fact that he was in training with us before he was signed. Sensible approach from Mr Monk.

Re: EU.....In or Out - RESULT
Comparing us to other countries is pointless because our situation is very different. Norway and Switzerland have been dealing with the EU/EEC on that basis for a long time and neither have ever had their economy based almost entirely as a gateway. Nor have they been faced with suddenly being forced...

That's all well and good, but it doesn't factor in money that comes back in through business. It's like shopping, you spend the money, but you get something in return as well.

Two reasons to be happy there.
Fellaini looked like an idiot with the chance at the end as well as his 'Annie' hairdo.
Clattenberg had a superb game and didn't put a foot wrong.

Re: Leeds team up with Greenpeace
While I support the things Greenpeace are trying to achieve, I'm not a fan of their methods which I find misguided and heavy handed.
Sounds like a perfect match to me.
