The United Kingdom would most certainly NOT work for just two countries. It would be a constant source of ridicule around the world. This isn't a game of 'let's play around with semantics' Faaip. In case you hadn't noticed some pretty big stuff is happening.

I think overall though people are missing the biggest issue of all.

If Scotland ad N.Ireland leave the UK we can no longer call ourselves the UK.

With just Wales and England, we would have no option but to name ourselves WANGLAND and sound like a cheap sex toy outlet.
