Re: Amdy Faye

Cant comment on Ipswich as I didnt go but against Preston the problem was clear, too many times our defenders lost their man and they ended up running at us two on one or with loads of space. This could be cleared up with better communication, talking to each other, passing on players but also bu pu...

Re: Have we ever had fans of other clubs come on here?

Crikey - just realised he used to post here years before Adam made this current forum! When we still used Bravenet! Adi (Huddersfield White) will remember him. Anyone else? I vaguely remember Flossy. Blimey, the Bravenet forum, when I stumbled upon you there was just 5 of you talking to you...

Re: Best League in the World?

Bit of a difference between best and morst entertaining. The Championship is certainly more entertaining that the Premiership, you can go watch any game and not have a clue what the final score is going to be, that said the level of football actually played isnt always great. The Championship thrive...

Re: O/T The 2010-11 Ashes Thread

I hope Rashid can play a big part in the Ashes, with our fast bowlers relliance on swing and the Australian pitches not being too giving in this regard I can see spin being a big player and we cant just rely on Swann, can we?

Supposed to be a good prospect, can play defensive midfield or centre back. Sure I've heard this rumour before though.

There was a documentary on channel 4 the other night made up of ameteur and news footage, it was really hard to watch as hundereds upon hundereds pf police and fire fighters rushed to help others, rushed to their own certain deaths.

Re: Player Ratings v Swansea

You know what they say about teams who can play poorly but still win... We were dreadful first half though. But for several good saves from Higgs we would have been out of it by half time. Towards the end of last season we played poorly and lost, this season we've got points from a few games when p...

Re: Player Ratings v Swansea

I disagree with the Dr, WR & yourself on Killa today. He played several one-twos in & around the box & should have done better with the header when he ran from deep into the Swansea box I don't care if his shot was going 3 miles wide, Johnson has been doing that all season & managed...

Re: Player Ratings v Swansea

Dont really do the points thing, however Apart from Higgs, Connolly, Howson Collins and Bechio, you could have taken the rest off at half time and replaced em with anyone from Hackney Marshes such was their ineptitude. Watt was a shadow of the player we have come to know and love(!), and should hav...

Agreed, thought he was off form but certainly didn't play badly.

Re: Player Ratings v Swansea

Killa has put in some good shifts and performances recently, thought today was one of his poorer games. Some overhit passes out to Gradel as white.riot said and didnt drive us forward at any point.

Re: club captain my arse

I wasn't there obviously - but apparently he had a mare in the 1st ½ hour, yet was solid for the rest of the game? We conceded cos he fell over - but Higgs should have got that weak shot, after seeing the highlights. Kasper would have. Nayls created the equalizer and was captain VISIBLE for the res...

He had an off day, he'll come good again, we have strength in depth with Watt, Sam and Gradel now so if things arent working Grayson can change things.

Bruce and Collins against Leicester looked as shakey as Naylor and Collins if I'm honest.

Looked rusty in terms of distribution today, cant really fault his goalkeeping too much though, perhaps parried one when he should have held it, was totally stitched up by Naylor for their goal.

Re: De Vries - Violent conduct?

What actually happened here? Did Luci challenge him late? Or was it just a 50/50 ball that the keeper was ticked off because Luci went for it? Luci was never getting to that ball, no need to go in two footed, I can totally understand the goalkeepers reaction though rules state he should have seen r...
