Re: Transfers. Signings Rumours and Wishes.
I personally think Klich is a very good player, Hernandez is proven, Saiz is a good back up. I like both Alioski and Roofe to get better. Some interesting players in the youth set up too. We own a lot of centre midfielders...If Biesla is half the manager most say he is then he should have no proble...

Re: Transfers. Signings Rumours and Wishes.
Interesting no one thinks the midfield needs improving, that has been our weakness the last two seasons imo. We don't have enough ball players, especially for Bielsa's style.

Re: Transfers. Signings Rumours and Wishes.
GK - Gunn on loan would be good. CB - Foyth loan would be good, need another ball playing if we go 3 CBs. Maybe look in u23s as well O'Connor, Diaz or Struijk might do well under Bielsa. CM - Tall, energetic midfielder. Souliaho Meite on loan from Monaco could be a good shout. Abdoulaye Toure from N...

Re: Matej Vydra Vs Abel Hernandez vs Fernando Torres
Hernandez for me. We don't need another no.10. I don't think Torres is likely, but if he is, then I'd get him as well.

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Wed 13 June)
Quite a few sources saying 1 year deal with a 1 year extension option, Newell Fc for one, another Argentinian Football expert dude to saying the same thing. Smart if true That makes sense. Where we are we can't really afford to give him a long term deal, but if he gets us up it will be extended.

Re: Summer Transfers and Squad Discussion
We are linked with a loan move for highly rated Spurs Cb Juan Foyth. Much as fans want Bartley, quick glance at Spurs forum, they are full of praise for Foyth. Bartley is a Swansea reject who's only ever played one full season. He did well at us, but it's embarrassing how our fans have turned him i...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Fri 8 June)
What worries is the British manager seems to be a rushed appointment, so someone out of work like McCarthy or Pardew. Shudder. Another poor appointment and waste of money those would be.

Re: Aston Villa
Didn't realise they had those huge debts fair enough I take it back. Though surely a sugar wouldn't make much of a difference anyway because of financial fair play. They can't just pump in millions without risking paying huge fines...? Well that's the problem, it isn't. Ffp was supposed to make clu...

Re: Aston Villa
None of those clubs spent big apart from wolves! I bet preston and other teams are looking at us being like how can you be spending 4.5 million on one player (forshaw). Yes they did. Bournemouth were fined for failing ffp and had 237% turnover on wages, Brighton lost £40m and had debts of £170m, Ca...

Re: Aston Villa
So it appears that you don't like clubs getting in financial difficulties, but you don't mind picking at the carcass. Much as other clubs did with us when we were in that state. I don't like sneering at others or the vitriol, or laughing at the fans who will suffer and low paid staff who will lose ...

Aston Villa
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/06/05/aston-villa-plunged-financial-crisis-42m-tax-bill-leads-threat/ I know everyone laughed and loved it when it was us, but I can't understand why fans of other clubs celebrate when others are in trouble. I know how painful it is for the fans. Another goo...

Re: The LUFC Breakfast Debate (Tue 5 June)
Morning all. I don't think we need to spend silly money in order to compete. We've good some good players already, then the likes of Hernandez available on a free, show you don't have to overspend. Use the loan market well, Bielsa is well respected, so maybe we could get some Man City, Atletico, Rea...

Re: Abel Hernandez
Not going to get excited until I see him holding up the shirt. From when I've seen his goals for Hull, he runs off through balls, so Pablo and Saiz will be licking their lips. Not sure what Roberts is like, Grot should be loaned out, Ekuban sold. I think we'll need an aerial threat too, when we face...

Re: Championship 18/19
Me neither really, just what ive read. A small Swedish team in the Swedish 4th tier, took them to the top tier and Europe. Took them through the group stages of the Europa League, earning a draw with Bilbao and beating that horrible unmentionable Turkish team on there way to Arsenal. Beat Arsenal a...

Re: Bielsa Tactics
I think the likes of Forshaw, Klich and Rey would fit in well with Bielsa's style. Phillips and Vieira have to improve their passing and ball retention. O'Kane and Murphy as far away from the club as possible.

Well said Pontus. A wake up call to the board that we are not happy about the lack of ambition, although the Bielsa appointment has obviously changed things.

Good morning all.
£500k for 4 wins in 4 months? Why wouldn't you want to be a football manager?
Hope Hernandez comes.
Garry Kelly for me.
