Re: EU - In or out? Your thoughts please!
The ever closer union will never happen I agree, but they will squeeze as much as they can and we will lose out. Are you suggesting the infrastructure bill will not increase if we have more people living here? No, I just don't believe that being in or out of the EU will significantly affect migrati...

Re: EU - In or out? Your thoughts please!
I will vote out and here is some of the reasons why. The "Goal" of the EU is an "Ever closer Union" - this can logically only ever end with an equalisation of member countries, as a better off country this will drag us down. The logic is sound, but there will never be an equal s...

Re: EU - In or out? Your thoughts please!
I'm still uncertain, one day the outs tell us the average family will be £1000 per year better off with little evidence to back it up , the next day the ins tell us the average family will be £1000 per year worse off if we leave, again with little evidence of why. If you try to make sense of it all...

EU.....In or Out - RESULT
Please try to keep the immigration shouting to a minimum! We've got leaflets and headlines and scare tactics flying all over at the moment regarding our place in the EU. Let's face it, the people who talk to us all are generally either one-issue screechers or those with a vested interest in th...

I was going to manage a local team, but I'd forgotten some vital pieces of equipment.
In the end I just didn't have the balls for it.

Re: At long last....
Been reading comments on various sites about this and one thing springs out at me. There are so many people wailing about hooligans, Heysel, and other instances involving fans of various football clubs. WHO CARES? This was not the case at Hillsborough. it wasn't the fault of football hooliganism or ...

Re: Evans days numbered
I think he's done better than just the last few weeks. Our last 11 games we have won 6, drawn 2 and lost 3 which isn't half bad. The stats we choose are determined by the point we want to make, everyone is guilty of that, but I think such a run over a 2 month period is pretty good and well deserving...

Re: Evans days numbered
Not being impressed or satisfied when a manager is winning games that he 'should' win is a tad silly imho. What you're basically saying is that the guy is doing his job at an acceptable level and therefore does not deserve to have his contract renewed. Some folk here are starting to sound more and m...

Whoever it is needs to watch what they do and be careful to correctly judge both the level and the potential outcomes.
Pranks like this can go wrong and reflect just as badly on the club as the antics of any member of the Cellino family.

It's a decent gesture, let's just hope the confidence that implies is reflected on and off the field with transfers, retention and performances.

Who says I have positive feelings for him? I'm saying more protests is likely to make him even more cavalier with LUFC.Gandalf wrote:Stockholm Syndrome

Re: What Do I Know?
Let's say the protest fails. Cellino still owns the club, but he's mightily pissed off by the march and decides he'll not invest a further penny and allows us to drop next season or maintain a low place finish. Let's say the protest succeeds. Cellino decides to sell to anyone that will meet his valu...
