I've been listening to a relatively new band out of New Jersey called Titus Andronicus. They're kind of a cross between punk/garage and Springsteen the rocker. Only reason I mention them is because of some spoken lyrics at the end of their song "Titus Andronicus Forever" -- words that could only be spoken by a Leeds fan post Millwall:

I am now the most miserable man living.
If what I feel were equally distributed to the whole human family,
there would not be one cheerful face on Earth.

Sums up the evening of Monday, March 22nd for me.
Helplessly hoping

For some reason I can't fathom, that reminded me of Cheap trick and the wonderful Horslips?

Corny yes...great sentiment in the lyrics tho and excellent arrangements. Don't you have a bowel to prod?

Your appointment's not til next week Twiggs.

Corny, served on corn bread with a side order of corn. Actually I quite like Korn.

My music tastes are wide to say the least. I have everything from Mozart to Megadeth, The Beatles to Black Sabbath. There's not much I don't like at all. Can't hack jazz or serious techno/dance though.

I've heard it said you can judge someone by putting their iPod on shuffle and listing the first ten or twenty-five songs. Hold on to your hats, this could be embarrassing...

1. Dies Irae by Bathory 2. The Thrill Of It All by Thunder 3. Crucifix Kiss by Manic Street Preachers 4. One by Metallica 5. Every Little Thing by The Beatles 6. Silly Thing by Skin 7. Can I Have This Dance? by High School Musical 3 Cast (I have two young daughters OK?) 8. Secret Door by Arctic Monkeys 9. Arthur by The Kinks 10. Here I Stand Before Me by Crash Test Dummies 11. Home Sick Home by Faith No More 12. Waste by Seether 13. Circles by Feeder 14. Brain Damage by Pink loyd 15. Brain Of J. by Pearl Jam 16. Friendship by Tenacious D 17. Drunk Like Me by Dogs D'Amour 18. A Skeleton In The Closet by Anthrax 19. Chosen Ones by Megadeth 20. Driftwood by Travis 21. Iron Skye by Santa Karla 22. B. Blues by Mike Oldfield 23. Mercury from The Planets Suite by Gustav Holst 24. Hey Gordy by Stormtroopers Of Death 25. Carry On by Spacehog

Here is an Aussie band that is not so new, but you may recognise the song?
LEEDS LEEDS LEEDS PUNK!

If you want a good Aussie band look no further than Airbourne. Very much in the AC/DC mould. Going to see them a week Sunday. They are being supported by the best new band around at the moment the mighty Black Spiders :spider:

There has been some seriously good music written by those who were drunk and on/or on drugs at the time.

However, if you have to be drunk and on drugs to listen to it it's not a good sign.
