We're up & running

As in the pre-match build up - b) "List them by album title only in the order as in the round" makes life easier for me with some many votes coming in

I'll have a lot of listening to do before voting!

Do we vote in matches including our own picks?

Yes you are allowed vote your own picks too Tom

We have 17 days on this round, so plenty of time for everyone. Future polls shall be much swifter so our players will have to be disciplined on posting their votes up as i won't be hanging around on this one

Once you've had a few listens the competition will become easier as you'll know which albums you prefer to others as the rounds go on !

I know 90% of the albums well it's just Genghers nominations I've not heard of/listened to..I hear most of the rest all too often.

I had the biggest problem in this round with the Stones/Queen matchup..BB I'm not a fan of but I really don't like day at the races so Stones win

Yes decision made for you in that case

I also know all the albums apart from 'We vs. Death - We Too Are Concerned / We Are Too Concerned' but i'm still gonna find time to listen to them all again just to see if my opinion has changed somewhat, amazing how tastes change over the years. You return to some albums & they sound so dated

Can we abstain if we really don't like either album in a head to head

Yes mate !

Although i always think there maybe three or four tracks you'll enjoy on a album as oppose to none or just one track on the other album.

I'd be surprised if our music fans don't like at least one or two tracks from those albums on that list apart from Mrs 64 & Hector. Lets face it the majority are classic albums

Just played LA Woman, Mogwai now, I did listen to it when it came out but don't remember much about it, I'll give it another go.

LA woman is a staple here, once a week normally.

and I reckon you should vote on all, just pick the album least offensive. I would have thought that was the point of the game. Otherwise you're just voting for albums you like
