Thankfully, precautionary measure rather than anything serious according to the Kiwi coach. Good to see that they didnt take any risks with playing him again in their 2nd match today.

My optimistic view is that the "injury" story is a cover to allow Wood home early in order to be fresh for rest of the season. I read elsewhere that the NZ coach was already planning several changes for the game today, suggesting that he didn't feel the need to be at full strength.

Reports from New Zealand say Wood's injury is "not too serious" as the striker returns to the UK.

That's just what we need!!!

Not too serious?

That's what was said about Bridcutt - out 3 months

Also said about Taylor - out 3 months

Do we assume the same?

Since we are Leeds, just assume Wood's career is over.
