Reminded me of Viduka, the way Lasogga played today was wonderful to watch, his touch and awareness was top quality

Just caught up with the highlights ( tad tired last neet )
How this manager came on the radar & signed looks like a master stroke.
Getting Him on a long term deal is the be all and end all right now.
Who would of thought last season's top scorer gone and we are miles better.
I did say 6-2 but Spartans 5-2 & Maguire hat trick 700 plus crowd happy days,
Oh I nearly forgot LEEDS 5-0 33.400 not to shabby either

Agreed liggy, way more important than the players, although we appear to have struck gold there too.Getting Him on a long term deal is the be all and end all right now.

Re: Pierre-Michel Lasogga
The thing is now the team are scoring from everywhere , not just the striker - last season snuff out Wood , you snuffed out Leeds . Its different now , all parts of the team seem to have danger for the opposition . As stated somewhere else on this thread - how wasn't TC on someone else's radar , but you can say the same for many of the players bought in too . Wood is gone but the money has enabled a lot of other parts of the team to be greatly improved , PLUS the team don't seem at present to be missing anything up front ....with more options available it makes for a much better side .liggy wrote:Just caught up with the highlights ( tad tired last neet )

Re: Pierre-Michel Lasogga
I think we should send him home till maybe Wednesday now.
He played like someone with a point to prove, he proved it. Let him go home to his girlfriend for a few days so he can be there if his childs born.
Give Grot the start against Birmingham and have Lasogga fit and hopefully on cloud nine after the birth and ready to batter Millwall

Re: Pierre-Michel Lasogga
Wow! I loved Viduka we all did of course, goals and clever link up play. When you lose a 30 goal centre forward and seems to all land another with attributes to bring others into play it makes the mouth water. We want to see more of Lassogga ,Oh and in that last third as opossed to spending to much time having to defend set pieces and the like.

He'd be mad as a box of frogs, to keep the same team that's just dismantled a fellow championship team
