Phew! Thank goodness thats over, I can honestly say that reading your comments last 15 mins of the game was torture! Would younsay that we owned the first half but Ipswich owned the second half?

Weidwald - 3
Ayling - 8 -
Shognessy - 7 `(Not a natural defender imo but doing a good job in a pinch)
Cooper - 8 - (Excellent all game, basically was the central defence)
Anita - 6 - (Started well but faded and tired leading to errors)
Alioski - 8 - Great work rate all game and was dangerous
O'Kane - 6 - Did nothing wrong just didn't grab hold of midfield.
Phillips - 7 - Excellent in attack but Ipswich' time and space around our box came from Phillips and O'Kane unable to compete there
Saiz - 8 - Loads of quality and maybe should have score one of 2/3 cracking chances
Hernandez - 9 - Masterful out of position, kept opening up Ipswich at will
Lassoga - 7 - Scored but really not that much else. I'll blame it on the wife

Dallas - 6 - Was OK
Beradi 5 - Poor out of position again. We still need a left back
Grot - 6 - There's something here, very hard working.

I'm thinking the opposite Ronan, by the sounds of things our goalie and defence need some sorting out. The Cardiff game is a bit too soon for me :(

Yeah we played better 1st half and Ipswich really had a go second. Panic stations at times but we hung on . Weidwald cocked up and Saiz and maybe Ali should have scored at least one but then again we got lucky with our 3rd imo.

Supported Wiedwald but the parry into the middle of your own box was pathetic. Goalkeeper rule number 1 push it wide not straight out.

Are you surprised without Pontus, that's 4 goals conceded in last two games.

TC kidded us all with his absence, as I thought he was bluffing in his interview

Jansson fit apparently but TC decided to leave him out.. . . . Greatest of respect to Cooper who was excellent and Shaunie but Jansson is the best cb.

Anyone think this is a managing thing?

Sort of like Tottenham had to do with Ledley King.

If, as it seems, it was a muscle type injury that PJ is suffering from then it was probably a sensible decision to give him an extra few day's rest so as to make sure it is fully healed rather than rush him back and risk the injury turning serious and PJ out for a few months. No point risking him, at this stage of the season, when we had 3 other centrebacks available. Yes PJ is our best CB but better he misses 1 match than half the season.
