While I'm not sure it's what we need right now and 2.5 million seems a lot - especially since west brom are happy to sell him!

knocking an 18 year old for getting 5 in 17 (quite a few of which were sub appearances) in League 1 though is ridiculous. Take a look at Harry Kane's history.

Living in the West Midlands I can tell you he is very highly rated down here. West Brom dont really want to lose him but the player is adamant that he wants to move on and so the Baggies didnt want to risk it going to a tribunal.

Hope to see the kid play on Saturday, even if its off the bench. He cant be any worse than Grot thats for sure !

Read in the E&S last night that Pardew wanted him to sign a 4 year contract but he wants to leave.

Its very quiet :(

Winger and centre back please.

Hope Roberts does well but for all intents and purposes we have signed a cheaper Ashley Fletcher.

Had a better record in league 1 at the same age then our lad.

Will support our new guy of course but if thats all we get its very underwhelming.

Given how Grot was lambasted despite being more proven I'm concerned for Roberts.

Roberts on the wing surely? We're not playing with 2 up front anytime soon ...plus he'll be on the bench at best for a while, say something and then get ignored by TC

@8ballali: #DeadlineDay Apparently Jay Roy Grot of #lufc could be sold today.
Sources believe a bid believed to be in the region of £50, has been received by Leeds United, from McDonald's. A new limited edition McGrot burger is expected to go on sale shortly. #MOT

Afobe joins Wolves on loan.
Mitrovic joins Fulham.

We sign no cb, a 17 year old who may be good eventually and a 19 year old who may be good eventually.

Not a surprise

Good signing, that should consolidate Fulham's play-off hopes

Ashley Fletcher went to Sunderland too. Cant help but feel we have missed a trick in this transfer window when you look at all the other clubs in that top 6, bar Bristol City signing real quality up front, and importantly proven goalscorers certainly at this level !

The strategy all seems to be pinned on " buying cheaply and hoping they make it good " I know there are no guarantees with spending big bucks but one would have thought we would have gone for a little more in this window. Yes we have spent £10m but as Noel Whelan rightly said the other day, £10m for one player is the kind of quality this club needs now, not £10m on 4 players !
