Steve Cooper may have made 11 changes to the side which started in the Championship last weekend, but his second string have been much too strong for a much-changed Cambridge team so far.

4-0 to Swansea

Lucas Digne equalises for Everton

The French left-back steps up from 30+ yards out, curling a free-kick over the wall and into the top corner.

Cardiff 1-1 Fulham

Mitrovic scores again cancelling our Murphy's goal for the Blues

Harry Arter gets a second yellow and is sent off!

Just moments after picking up his first yellow, Arter theatrically throws himself to ground after Sean Morrison puts a foot out in the corner of the field.

Ten minutes to go

If Kiko had conceded the goal that the Fulham keeper did some of our fans would have been lynching him. Awful positioning and such a weak hand on the shot. Awful defending from both teams for the goals too.

After watching the Cardiff game I fear that their physicality will be a big test for us when we play them, got to somehow keep their penalty area bombs to a minimum cos they will score from that tactic ! Just hope our passing game will see them off.

Why be worried? Swansea thrashed Birmingham, Brentford thrashed someone, yet when they played us neither side really looked any good.

Watched Wolves vs Everton and couldn't help but wonder if we and Wolves have a bit in common.

Both of us exceeded expectations last season.

Both of us have small squads and dare i say it, both of us didnt do quite enough to strengthen.

Wolves signed 2 loans from last season permanently.

They signed 2 young attackers and a cb on loan, thats it.

They let Cavaleiro and Costa leave.

You wonder, did they do enough to build on or did they get complacent and just fill in gaos they created with sales while not strengthening other areas.

Did we do enough? For me no, i think we are a quality number 10, a proper top class commanding Championship cb short and maybe a proven goalscorer to although Eddie and Paddy have done ok tbf so far.

Cant complain to much so far but we have seen the Swansea game before last season many times vs different opponents.

Wolves shocked everyone last season but now they are struggling, we surprised many and have started well but old gremlins are starting to appear.

Just struck me watching the game that maybe us and Wolves have more in common then just Douglas and Costa.

Ed scores twice for Engerland in their 3-2 over Turkey.

Cooper makes an error to allow the Russians score against the Jocks.

Good on ya Eddie, now dont get injured.

Sad as it is to say that isnt a surprise, Coops is nowhere near international class.
