Much will depend who's on it on the night, who isn't and who wants it more.
I'm nervous because it's on the telly. That's usually a jinx.

Hope you're right Sean. I'm just a bit nervous he's not going to start Spence.

Gyabi and Hjelde both missing from 21's. I think he's just bulking up the squad due to potential illnesses, Unless it's a crisis, I doubt either will make the bench.

No Shackleton or Byram so Hjelde seems indicated

Hjelde may be on bench - but when asked in presser Farke said he's looking at other options.

Our defenders: Cooper, Ayling, Spence, Cresswell, Hjelde. One replaces Byram. Maybe all other 3 on bench.

And of course there are the illnesses. We don't know who's involved with that.

Only Coops and Ayling for defensive cover without some serious shuffling. Amps has played CB in the past, if Gruev needed to step in to cover his spot while he filled if needed.

Spence has played 1 game at CH during his career, although that would be entertaining to say the least.

Gruev Ayling Ampadu and Cooper should be plenty of cover.

He's got cover all over, I'd just prefer not to need it.

Me too, Ian--been a looong time coming. Hate that his first start is out of position, but still anxious to see what he can put together with a full match to work with. Do love that he's on Jimmy's side though

Who knows? Gray might play left back.

Big relief seeing the team sheet. Thought we were going to be missing a few. Of course, if some players have been poorly, it might affect their stamina tonight.

I wondered the same thing, Andrew. Not sure which way DF will go with that particular selection.
