Would be a mistake, but one assumes if true we have a CB lined up. It maybe Spence is headed back too? No good reason to drop him today.

My feeling, and I mentioned this a while ago, is that we have nobody up front who plays with their back to goal but looks to actually hold the ball up and lay it off rather than immediately trying to turn with the ball. We are a bit too predictable when teams pack the defence against us. Is Bamford the answer? Possibly not but he could be a useful foil to get the ball, lay it off to midfield whilst drawing players to him, and then a midfielder slides the ball through for James or Summerville to run on to. That likely makes Summerville and James more threatening against a parked bus defence as they are then in a foot race with just their marker and if they get to the ball can cut in to the box which makes a centreback have to come to meet them, this then means the box is less packed and hopefully there is a bit more space for Bamford or Rutter. Admittedly you'd then want Piroe to be the one on the end of the chance rather than Bamford.
We've seen this before with Bielsa and Rodrigo.

Was Rodders a traditional striker? No

But when used up front he was much better than shoehorned in as a 10.

He won't understand all that, he relies of other peoples stuff from constant internet surfing and Google.

And i mean 'constant' as in 24hrs of every single day.

Not surprised Farke is mixing and matching.

We’ve played a lot of games in the last couple of weeks.

Satisfied with the lineup as is. I think it will be enough to win today.
