I assume it had something to do with the Rugby Union yesterday.

Re: NAP of the Day
Shaun,
I noted your last selection yesterday was from the Jumps meeting at Hexham. Now, why I appreciate it was a NH Flat Race/Bumper, Rule 2 does state (as highlighted below) selections for the Flat Season Comp have to be made from a "Flat meeting race".
Therefore, if it had have been placed I would have to discount as a void pick....also it meant you only had 5 legitimate races, but I have chosen not to impose the £50 fine.....although perversely you'd have been better off had I done so
Also, for all to note I intend to make an amendment to Rule 2 when we start the NH Season Comp on 28th Oct.
Going forward, you will be required to select a minimum of 4 races from the main/chosen meeting, as opposed to the current 3. It's only and Nick who select only from the main/chosen meeting. Others (including myself) to a greater, or lesser degree make detours all over the UK and Ireland, which dilutes the purpose of having a main/chosen meeting.
Saturday Flat Season Comp Rules
1. All players start with a £600.00 pot
2. you have to bet on a minimum of 6 Flat meeting races, with a minimum of three being from the 'main' meeting, which will be confirmed prior to the Saturday. Selecting less than the required 6 races will result in a £50.00 fine being imposed. (You can choose others as long as they are Flat/turf UK meetings (Irish meetings are allowed) - AW meetings are not allowed to be picked from).
3. Minimum bet is £2.50 ew or £5 win on any selection, but you can go as high as you like.
4. A non pre-agreed no show on any Saturday during the course of the Comp will attract a £50.00 fine on each occasion.
5. If anyone goes into the red then they can only bet a maximum of £50.00 until such time as they are back in credit.
6. All prices are starting prices (SP) as quoted in the Racing Post. Place odds are based on 1/4 SP.
7. Any mid-season Festival Comps are separate and do not affect the regular Saturday Comp standings.
8. Any player joining the Comp mid-season will be started with a pot £10 below that of the player in last position.

Re: NAP of the Day
you may wish to amend your post about the new season as you've said you're amending rule 2 to have a minimum of 4 from the main meet but you've stated 3 in the post!
