On a serious note - The downer on living down Sarf is that finding a decent chippy is a fools herring.

Leicester's fans are not as friendly when I visited Foxes Talk a few years ago.

A classic true story -

A mate talked about how they found a safe in the river

Of course I replied in a flash 'Was it a Chubb' ?

Some forums are precious about posters affiliated to other clubs. Personally, I have no issue with it, adds interest to the discussion topics, unless they are just abusive WUM’s.

Just fascinated to see how we measure up against the best team in the league. Looking forward to it but I won’t be getting the razor blade out if we lose 😁

Sorry, wrong thread.
Whereabouts do you go? I went last week near Huddersfield mainly pulling out Perch and Gudgeon, but that said, I'm pretty shite at it!

He is right though. If we beat Leicester it puts us on 28 points, we won’t get promoted on that tally.

My Bamford No 9 mug is gathering dust in the cupboard. Would it be a good omen to use it ????

Don’t ask me to get rid - I am an old sentimentalist at heart.

On second thoughts I trout it will make a difference if I use it or not.

Interesting mug. If you throw it at the ground it’ll miss. Weird but true.

There’s another fish joke here isn’t there Overman?
Perch & Gudgeon. Is that a euphemism?

If it’s not a joke I’m actually an avid fly fisherman.

It’s a joke isn’t it 🤔

My youngest bought it for me last Christmas. Ironically I spent the whole day throwing it at him. He just stood still and watched it either sail over his head or go wide.

My favourite hobby Dave. Forget everything when I’m fly fishing. Stress buster.
Funnily enough we used to catch a lot of Gudgeon in our local trout stream back in the day. That was until they polluted all those streams. They were teaming with trout. All gone now.
