Shows the benefit of having a dig. Blasted the ball at goal, took a deflection and scored.

I'd take that over 70% possession in our own half and then trying to walk the ball in.
100%
Another Guardiola legacy. I'm sure he'd rather score a goal with 29 passes than 3.
Too much reliance on statistics and probabilities

Exactly Jim :ok:

We have no goals from central midfield this season, which is a damning statistic. The one goal we got from Archie Gray was him having a dig, the ball ping ponging off a few defenders and going in. Not credited to Archie.

So if you already eliminate CM goals, and goals from set pieces, and are also trying to walk the ball in, then you are severely limiting your goal scoring opportunities.

It's like reading War and Peace while we're dilly dallying about waiting for the perfect moment. Meanwhile the opposition get one corner, or counter, and it's bang and we're 0-1 down again.

We're easy to score against and find it difficult to score. We need to be much less predictable.

Up to Farke to sort this out.

West Brom could use a win today to guarantee PO football and boost confidence...

Shocking statistics. Is it DF’s system of possession based football that has the players scared to shoot ? Got a bloody sore throat shouting SHOOOOOOT !!! at the tv all season, how many times do we see Kamara, Rutter, Piroe etc in good positions just to see them take an extra touch or play an impossible pass. Can’t understand what our coaches are doing week in week out regarding our dead ball farce ? Firpo is arguably our best crosser of the ball why don’t we let him hit a few free kicks/corners, what have we got to lose, can’t be any worse than than the players who fight over them every week with no success.

We play with a DMF and 4 forwards so there is only one central mid on the pitch for us a lot of the time... Kamara should be on around 3/4 goals for the season but we have a lot of goals from our striker (11) AMF (18) Wingers (39) in all competitions .. not sure where it matters where the goals come from, just that they do

Yeah, but when the goals dry up from your usual sources you need to find a different way to score and we aren't doing that for a while now.

DMF's are notoriously low scorers .. I'm less concerned with that than the lack of goals from our CB's, Rodon dominant in the air in defence seems to go missing in the opposition box..

Another massive chance for WBA

Big chances Leicester 0 WBA 3, the later two off the line from the defender and good keeper save

Johnstone ripping them a new one, got in close again there and puts it over, 0-4 in big chances
