Done a few half marathons but never a full Snickers.
You can get away with just doing some 10k runs for a half but for a full one a friend of mine was doing 20 mile training runs and gave up drinking completely till it was done. Na balls to that. Great achievement though.

I've been putting plenty miles on t'clock, but plenty drinks as well which is foolish.
My mate A, was doing the marathon but knocked it down to half because of injuries through football and kickboxing, wise move.
I have a few old wounds that are hampering me but I'm going for it.

What sort of time are you hoping for?
I think the aim for me would be not to stop first and foremost.

Anything under 5 hours would be ok by me at my age, no PBs or anything as I've never been a runner, back in t' day, I would piss it with a 45lb bergen on my back.
One things for sure, I'm gonna have a good drink afterwards and hopefully will be celebrating a United win.
