Really? I thought Steve - the biggest keyboard warrior on this forum - p****d his pants when called out by a certain Irish poster promising to say hello in person at ER after yet another nasty personalised post?
Ah well, obviously didn't see the Twitter thing. It's a media device beyond my comprehention, I can only go by what I read here and none of that seemed out of order. Contentious maybe but so am I a lot of the time.
"Never debate an idiot, they'll only drag you down to their level and they have the advantage of experience"
I remember him! I do belive (but I may be wrong and have to try and look it up) that this Marko bloke was the irritation that made me create my very first post. He really got under my skin! Who was he, what was his game, to me he seemed a saboteur of our wonderful football club and its fans. Just my humble opinion. And very well done for remembering his name, he was very destructive!

And like I said at the time, what did Marko say that was considered insulting. Other than having a different view of things to Riot, what did he say that upset folk. I always thought he put his views across very well. Him and Riot were at loggerheads but it wasn't one sided. I said at the time when the thread was made about him, it was victimisation in my eyes and out of order, it worked though as he never posted again.
Mouthed off - as usual - on the music thread shoving his opinion down everyone's throats.
Then had a pop at me and Armley after trolling us on Twitter.
So he got a warning.
Then had his account deleted.
I said it before: I'm Irish. We don't forget.
Ahhh Gino....how i have missed you :luv: :luv: :luv:

Contentious with wit or sarcasm not an issue. Stevie White Riot was personally insulting and not just to me. His utter arrogance that any music not recorded by The Clash is a perfect example.
And God forbid you stood up him and had to deal with a fawning acolyte!
Search through and you can find the common denominator why many posters have left this site.

Hadn't realised you'd been posting nearly five years, doesn't time fly ?
Very brave of you to stand up to this fella Swan
Thanks 64. I think I posted first of all in 2012 and then got a bit shy. Then you put up a post (I think it was you) asking all the newbies to try posting, and the rest as they say is history. Can't get rid of me now

I'm a Hibernophile - no distinction 'twixt North and South for me.
I thoroughly enjoyed our short visit (first ever but only 5 days) to Blessington, Gorey and a few points in between this last September, visiting a couple of old friends. I wished we'd had more time but there's a future for more visits, especially at Ryanair prices, when we move back over.
