I don't disagree, Leon, but both are happy to be involved and we are not in a position, nor would it be possible, to have a first team squad full of top talent. How would you keep them all happy when only 11 can start? We certainly need better than those two to flesh out the squad and challenge for starts, but we have to be realistic in who we can get1964white wrote:Plodders, average at best !

I would be interested to know the win stats for Leeds in the games where Dallas started as although he rarely catches the eye he always seems to put a solid shift in.

We are joint favourites with Bet Victor for Leigh Griffiths (Celtic - 26 - F)

Leeds have a triggered a £1.7million clause in Hadi Sacko’s contract to buy him on a permanent transfer, according to French outlet Record
The 23-year-old has been on a season-long loan at Elland Road from Sporting and his current deal is due to expire at the end of June.
The report claims that the Frenchman will be a Leeds player next season after the club triggered the purchase clause in his loan agreement which was set at £1.7million.
It is said that the Yorkshire outfit, who are now without a manager following Garry Monk’s resignation on Thursday, have told Sporting that they intend to keep Sacko.

No wonder Monk resigned if they're signing this pile of crap.1964white wrote:Leeds have a triggered a £1.7million clause in Hadi Sacko’s contract to buy him on a permanent transfer, according to French outlet Record

Showed enough early and it's hopefully a sign that we're throwing around money in the transfer market. Probably a couple of seasons away from his peak so decent investment IF it's just the beginning

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2017
Was a strange one that Monk kept bringing him on as a sub towards the end of the season, as we went on our awful run, despite him constantly doing nothing when he came on. I would have had Roofe, Dallas, Pederazz or Doukara all on before him.

TBH I would have thrown him on with Wood up front, just to give Wood more space.
Every game I predict a 3 - 1 Leeds win, I am traditional like that.

Jonny Howson has rejected a new contract at Norwich City, increasing speculation that he is on his way out of the club.

I see Derby have made a decent CB signing Curtis Davies from Hull
Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2017
Top of my wish list is Josh Onomah from Spurs. He was superb for the England u20's.

That's probably why they hire people such as Orta to find players rather than relying on our limited knowledge of players1964white wrote:Two players we've never heard of
Guessing few of us had heard of Pontus and probably even less had heard of Berardi - yet most of us would have heard of the players that Warnock brought into the club.
Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2017
A lot of chatter seems to be us buying Matt Derbyshire ... and I really really hope it's not true
