Brilliant to get the kids in - hopefully we will turn in a great performance and the poor ba****ds will become Leeds fans for life.

This on top of the 33% off if you buy tickets for Burton & Birmingham. Looked yesterday and Burton is going to be over 30K with the East upper already open. Radz is certainly trying his best to get the disillusioned fans back into the ground. Years of top prices and rows of empty seats, thanks to Bates, are hopefully being put behind us

It's a no brainier. Why couldn't our previous owners see it? Get a new younger generation following the club. Just buying a programme and a snack at the ground will pay for it!

Bates loved rows of empty blue seats as long as he raked in plenty of dosh for his lifestyle in Monaco by fleecing fans he couldn't give a damn !rich_leeds64 wrote:This on top of the 33% off if you buy tickets for Burton & Birmingham. liking this bloke more and more , the ground buy back was done with no fuss and bluster , the manner in which the transfer window was conducted (money spent on young keen players signed on 4yr contracts )and now the kids for a £1 , hope he keeps it up for the season and not just a couple of games . Well done Radz everything that Leeds fans want to see .
I could stop drinking but im not a quitter

It's a shame as Ipswich will only probably bring around 1000 fans, (they are getting the £1 offer too but full price adult is £37)meaning 2000 empty seats, which would be easily filled with this kind of offer by our support. Time to move the aways back to the cheese wedge???

Re: Home game v Ipswich
Only problem with that is they've sold season tickets in the cheese wedge for this season. But couldn't they give just the upper tier to away fans and the lower for LUFC in the West standgessa wrote:It's a shame as Ipswich will only probably bring around 1000 fans, (they are getting the £1 offer too but full price adult is £37)meaning 2000 empty seats, which would be easily filled with this kind of offer by our support. Didn't realise that Rich, just a shame that we're now getting to near sell out games and there are going to be 2000 empty seats in the away section in most games. How strategic would it be to split the stand with fans entering and leaving the stadium, must be getting on for 20 years since I've been in the West Stand and can't remember how the entrances work, would be unworkable in the East Stand.rich_leeds64 wrote:Only problem with that is they've sold season tickets in the cheese wedge for this season. Its the time travel that's the problem , moving from Neolithic times to modern times is a big shock to them as their horses and carts block the motorway . I do believe they are close to discovering the secrets of fire though .gessa wrote:It's a shame as Ipswich will only probably bring around 1000 fans, (they are getting the £1 offer too but full price adult is £37)meaning 2000 empty seats, which would be easily filled with this kind of offer by our support. Suffolk is a VERY odd place with very odd people . I'm a few miles down the road in Essex , in terms of time though its about 4000 years difference .
