Guess the crowd vs Reading 15:00 Saturday 14/10/17-Champ
Last season Sat 13/12/16 - 21,242
Already reported to be a sell out so should probably be up with or better than our last home gate of 34.002.

On the official site it said (2/10) there were < 1,000 tickets left so it's anybody's guess. Would that automatically mean ESU open? I've got to assume that to be the case.

Does anybody know how they actually calculate the attendance figure?
I've seen posts on here before which have asked the same question but nobody seems to know if they include tickets bought by such organisations as in my previous post.
If you're reading seadog, have you any idea?

I've read varying points of view on this Norm, some say it's the number that go through the turnstiles, others say its that plus any unused season tickets that are not used added together, the area that gets really clouded is corporate, some say they are others say they're not included. I think it's actually what goes through the turnstiles plus corporate sales added together that give the total attendance.Norm wrote:Does anybody know how they actually calculate the attendance figure?

Found this an old report I know but it seems it's up to the club how they do it.

Thanks Ges, it's a grey area but the definition of 'sell out' is impossible to calculate.gessa wrote:

Ah well, just as well it's difficult to estimate or the prize for winning this valuable competition would be too cheaply won. :sing:

Also we have to guess how many away fans there will be and then if they only sell the top tier then Leeds will open a small section in the South used for segregation if they sell the bottom tier, can only see 4/5 teams bringing enough for the bottom tier to open this season.
